“Colorful Little House”

This is a project for the sale of narrow detached houses in a strip of land. Beyond the division of ownership by residential land development, the integrated base and the convex and concave arrangement of the small houses make the “pull-through passageway” an open space like a plaza that connects to the outside. The 11 dwelling units facing each other are unified by “gabled house shape,” “eave height,” “same material for roof and exterior walls,” and “square windows. On the other hand, “roof slope,” “roof and exterior wall color (white, dark blue, orange, silver, brown),” “material (slate, colored steel plate),” and “residential ready-made sash (stainless steel, bronze, black, white, silver)” will be changed to clarify differences. By clearly defining the rules of “same” and “difference,” we created an environment of a series of similar yet different houses.
