建築概要
「白の曲面」
桜並木の通りに面したT字路に位置する。生産緑地、竹林公園、民家に囲まれたのどかな環境の高台である。どの方向にも背を向けたくない場所でどこから見ても「表」に見える構成とした。道路境界・敷地境界線で断ち切れた積層するスラブ上に、ばらまかれたユニット（部屋）がいくつか組み合わされタテヨコにつながることで、それぞれ全く異なる住戸を形成する。可塑的な素材であり一体成形できる特徴をもつ鉄筋コンクリートは曲面に馴染む。白い抽象的な曲面造形が有機的な図と地の構成をつくる。地の空隙に風が流れ光が巡り人が行き交う。

“White Curved Surface.”
Located at a T-junction facing a street lined with cherry trees. It is located on a hill in a tranquil environment surrounded by a greenbelt, a bamboo grove park, and private houses. The site does not want to turn its back to any direction, so the composition was designed to appear “front” from any angle. On the stacked slabs cut off at the road and site boundaries, a number of scattered units (rooms) are assembled and connected vertically and horizontally to form dwelling units that are completely different from each other. Reinforced concrete, a plastic material that can be formed as a single piece, is at home on curved surfaces. The white abstract curved surface forms an organic figure-ground composition. Wind flows through the void in the ground, light circulates, and people come and go.
