石神井公園の家/ House in Shakujii Park
建築概要
小さな公園に隣接した住宅地に建つ。中庭を有するコの字型平面の地下室を有する２階建住宅。入り口は２箇所あり、ピロティのカーポートから中庭、2階テラス、内部空間を螺旋状に回遊する。外部の中庭の下部に地下空間がある。外観の真っ白い漆喰壁とは対照的に、木壁に囲まれた「中庭」は前面の小さな公園が入り込んだような場として内部空間を拡張し生活の一部になっている。

The house is located in a residential area adjacent to a small park. This two-story house has a U-shaped plan with a courtyard and a basement. There are two entrances, which spiral from the pilotis carport through the courtyard, the second floor terrace, and the interior space. The basement space is located at the bottom of the exterior courtyard. In contrast to the pure white stucco walls of the exterior, the “courtyard” surrounded by wooden walls extends the interior space and becomes a part of daily life, as if the small park in front of the house were an enclosed space.
