若松均の建築展 ～ヴォイド・ピロティの展開～
企画概要
「ヴォイド・ピロティ」
近代建築の言語の中でも特に「ピロティ」は周辺環境との関係や配置によって多様な展開の可能性があるのでは、と考えてきました。私たちの設計作品の多くは都内に位置し、エントランスや駐車スペースのために、地上レベルで空地が自ずとピロティ状に現れてきます。住戸へのアプローチの場である共用スペースは、単なる通過動線ではなく立体的で積極的なカタチのヴォイドを伴いながら、さまざまな内と外を構成し展開していきました。現実的な都市性を内包し、内外の関係を延長した場として「ヴォイド・ピロティ」と名付けました。[若松均]
「Void Pilotis」
Among the vocabulary of modern architecture, we have long considered the pilotis in particular to hold diverse possibilities of development through its relationship with the surrounding environment and its placement.Many of our design works are located in central Tokyo, where open ground-level spaces naturally emerge in a pilotis-like form to accommodate entrances and parking areas. The shared spaces that serve as approaches to the dwelling units are not merely transitional circulation routes; rather, accompanied by three-dimensionally articulated and actively formed voids, they compose and unfold a variety of interior–exterior relationships.Encompassing a sense of realistic urbanity and functioning as a place that extends the relationship between inside and outside, we have named this spatial condition “Void Pilotis.”
